About the CPO

The Curtis Parent Organization (CPO) is a group of parents and guardians of the students attending Ephraim Curtis Middle School whose primary purpose is advocating and promoting the education and general welfare of the students. We support educational enrichment programs and related activities of the school, interact with teachers and administrative staff, and raise money to fund cultural and science programs and activities, professional development programs, technology purchases, classroom supplies, and many other items.

Our members meet together on a monthly basis in the Curtis cafeteria to openly share information about upcoming school-related events, and to listen to your suggestions on how to improve our organization and its sub-committees. For more information about the CPO and upcoming events, visit our website.

Consider joining us at one of our upcoming meetings to hear about the latest events and to share your ideas. The CPO provides many opportunities to serve, volunteer, and be an active member of your children’s educational team. It is a wonderful way to stay involved in your children’s lives as they leave elementary school and enter those “tween” years...all without embarrassing them! There are many ways for you to participate ~bring your ideas to our Cultural Enrichment group, bake for the Hospitality Committee, plan a party by helping to organize the students’ social events. We look forward to working with you to help enhance the community of Ephraim Curtis Middle School!

Please do not hesitate to contact any of our CPO chairs for further information. We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming meeting!
